His artistic works include concerts-performance and installations with emphasis in the sound. His exploration in this area ranges from the study of nature as a motor and inspiring source, the interpretation of low frequency sounds to the over imposition of concrete sounds.
For his project 969 ( anemOSC ) he traveled far south to Puerto Williams to work with the forces of wind.
rare_spaces – a collaboration between Florian Tuercke and René Rissland – is a series of artistic investigations of the acoustic potential of spaces that are normally not accessible for the public.
The tools for this research are loudspeakers and microphones, while the experiments focus on the natural resonance frequencies and the reverberation-time of the individual space.
The investigation methodes are controlled acoustic feedback and impulse-responce experiments.
Each investigation results in a 10-15 minutes audio-piece that is an acoustic portrait of the individual space
